The Infinite Center
Case Study
Mission, Vision & Values + Elevator Pitch + Website Strategic Audit + Retreat Promo Consultation
The Challenge
Alice Dommert and Jarrod Matteson at The Infinite Center were curious to explore their emerging organization’s values and land on mission and vision language as many pieces of their collaborative venture were catalyzing. They wanted to define the differences between this new organization and Prasada, Alice’s other company that focused on corporate wellness.

Our Approach
To anchor the story about their purpose and the unique methodology of The Infinite Center, we embarked on a series of work sessions to uncover and define their Mission, Vision and Values and their Elevator Pitch before they boldly launched their newsletter and social media presence to increase their visibility.
-
Across our collaborative work sessions, we thoughtfully explored values to arrive at the unique ingredients The Infinite Center combines to create experiences with transformative potential. We captured the essence of their alchemy with precision through mission and vision language that delved into the ideology supporting their shared practice.
-
With intention and enthusiasm, we landed on 4 versions of the elevator pitch that met their practical needs: a 30 second version and 2 minute version each directed toward their two audiences of HR managers and CEOs/Visionaries.
-
We tested their new and self-created website against our ultimate website scorecard that spans 6 categories (and 32 subcategories!), measuring each against a rating scale, intended to identify and uncover their website’s strengths, blind spots, and many areas to evolve and refine.
-
We jumped into the promotional materials they were creating for an upcoming set of retreats in Boston and outside Philly to sharpen concepts, explore which aspects to highlight and prioritize in the communication, and discuss the grassroots marketing approach for generating awareness.
Our Work
Strategic Focus
An academic and emotive practice in arriving at consensus
Through several rich conversations, we surfaced many dimensions to the purpose and ideals behind the events and experiences The Infinite Center creates. Together we landed on mission and vision language that spoke to the special and transformative outcomes their unique container makes possible.
Values Deep Dive
A secret ingredient self-revealing process
We explored a wide range of values across the 4 most significant filters I’ve found over many years of running this type of workshop, with organizations Smartwool and the San Jose Earthquakes (a Major League Soccer team). Each set of values yielded interesting and relevant discussion surrounding The Infinite Center’s reason for being and the outcomes they make possible for folks on their healing journeys.
Tactical Guidance
From big picture to the finer details to maximize opportunities to connect
Our proprietary scorecard for evaluating website effectiveness and maximizing the engagement of site visitors pointed to several easy-to-implement ideas and solutions as well as some longer term goals for content to connect with the hearts and minds of prospective clients and event participants.
Impact
Beyond the clarity and insight we expected to glean from the process, a palpable excitement emerged from having direct conversations at the outset about the ideals driving their growth. Since we worked together to identify their reason for being, they expanded their business concept to offer virtual breathwork experiences and specialized coaching for corporate burnout.
-
As an organization that elicits a process of self-discovery and growth, we explored the origins of their creative offerings and their perspectives. The process itself involved deep and rich conversations that allowed Alice and Jarrod to learn new things about themselves and each other.
-
Beyond the new self-knowledge and shared vision, the process of defining the strategic foundation for their brand and the experiences they create, this collaboration served to galvanize them toward boldly sharing their story across new platforms: email newsletter and social media.
-
Their eagerness to learn what could be optimized and improved about their website experience helped them move from a simplified and minimal website to a more robust 2.0 version with more storytelling, enhanced drivers of consideration and purchase, and a more resonant and engaging experience for prospective clients.
